Hampshire
Will Flavell
Having recently finished playing on the pro circuit, Will has successfully completed his Level 3 RPT course. He has partnered Marcus Willis on tour and still plays to an extremely high level, making him a formidable hitting partner. Will still competes regularly to a strong county standard and enjoys building relationships with both the junior and adult players he works with. Call Will on 07538 996195 for individual lessons.
Daisy Fox
A recent addition to our team, Daisy is incredibly passionate about tennis. She has been playing for years, representing her county in various tournaments and now bringing her skills to coaching. A Level 2 coach, Daisy is also a qualified fitness instructor and fully first aid trained. So, if you work too hard on court or in the gym, Daisy will make sure you keep breathing! Call Daisy on 07468 519288 for individual lessons.
Fraser Hussey
An LTA Level 3 coach, cardio tennis instructor and mini tennis leader, Fraser has the qualifications to help players of all abilities progress and achieve their personal objectives - but it's his enthusiasm and (100% natural!) permasmile that get people engaged and coming back time and again. As a former top Hampshire player, he likes to hit the gym and then chill out with a movie or three. If you ever need a recommendation, just check in with Fraser the Film Buff. Call Fraser on 07828 631155 for individual lessons.
Jamie King
Jamie admits to "eating, sleeping and breathing tennis" so that explains why he coaches all ages from tots to seniors, runs holiday camps, organises tournaments, delivers Bootcamp Tennis, leads Buggy Tennis and so on. Having represented GB at the Deaf Olympics, Jamie brings his hard-won personal experiences onto court and injects fun into every session so players learn and laugh together. A coach for 12 years, he holds a Level 3 qualification and is a lifelong (and therefore patient) Saints supporter. Call Jamie on 07986 055205 for individual lessons.
David Macnab
David is a law graduate who has followed his son, Fraser, into tennis coaching (as the saying goes... like son, like father). An RPT Level 2 coach, his tennis philosophy is to ensure kids progress but above all have fun and keep coming back. Outside tennis, David tries to keep fit, find time for friends and loves movies, whether new or old. Every year, he and Fraser enjoy a special holiday together, just to talk drills over sundowners - that's commitment to the cause. Call David on 07502 086567 for individual lessons.
Jemma Raeburn
Working in a special needs school, Jemma is a part-time Level 2 qualified coach with a talent to engage kids and facilitate learning. With a background in grass roots tennis (Portswood Club and Southampton parks), she loves what many others don't: getting things started. This explains her past success developing the University of Hertfordshire tennis club from 0 to 70 players in a season. Jemma loves being outside, walking the dogs (that's really sweet), competing in triathlons (that's quite serious) and ultra running (that's really silly). On sabbatical currently, probably sleeping, she will be back on court soon.
George Thomas
George started playing tennis at the age of 5, representing his school and Hampshire through his junior years. A Level 4 coach with over 12 years' experience and currently Head of Tennis at Alton School, he prides himself on having worked with players who have gone on to play at US universities as well as those who have competed at Junior Wimbledon. A qualified maths teacher, George will help you find all the right angles on court... Call George on 07557 400929 for individual lessons.
Gary Waughman
After a successful playing career that included top level tennis in Germany, Gary has been coaching tennis for over 20 years. A Level 4 LTA accredited coach, he leads by example helping people be the best they can be - from beginners sessions and family fun to on-court fitness classes and performance tennis, Gary is there with a his signature smile and sense of humour. When he's not bingeing pizza and binge-watching Netflix, Gary can be found cheering at his daughter's equestrian events and then mucking out afterwards, where he cheers a little bit less. Call Gary on 07901 640434 for individual lessons.

Be a Premier Tennis coach

We employ coaches at different levels to run and support a wide variety of programmes. Currently, there are opportunities to coach for us in schools and parks programmes, and individual private lessons around Oxfordshire, Surrey and on our holiday camps around the UK (as head coach or assistant coach).

All Premier Tennis coaches are required to be CRB/DBS checked and have the relevant first aid qualification; they must also successfully demonstrate their coaching ability and attend training sessions with our coaching team as required. Get in touch with us to find out more.

What do Premier Tennis coaches receive?

Premier Tennis coaches are rewarded well, and in return, we expect a high degree of professionalism – which is nothing less than our customers demand or deserve.

We have good links for ongoing coach education. This enables us to create bespoke coaching courses for achieving Level 1 and 2 or above, often at a discount, with like-minded and motivated coaches.

You will also benefit from our own additional training, as we are committed to ensuring all our coaches are fully up to speed on age-appropriate drills and teaching techniques, as well as customer service expectations.

Further off-court support is available to our in-house coaches in the form of mentoring, marketing support, administration, finance and legal advice.
